Frequently Asked Questions

Where Is Your Office Located?

205 Powell Pl., Suite, 207, Brentwood, TN 37027

My office is located in the Maryland Farms area of Brentwood, just south of Nashville. I am just west of I-65 off the Old Hickory exit, on the 2nd floor of the Chesapeake Business Center. The building is wheelchair accessible and has an elevator for your convenience.

What Are the Options For Parking?

Parking is located directly in front of the Chesapeake Office Building and is handicap accessible.

Do You Take Insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield, as such, patients with BCBS will be reimbursed. Many patients are still able to utilize insurance benefits to pay for therapy sessions with an out-of-network provider. This is typically done by patients submitting a statement from my practice to the insurance provider and your insurance company may reimburse you directly.

What Are Your Fees/Payment?

My standard fee for a 45-50 minutes session is $190 (sessions of other durations are prorated at $190 per 45 minutes).

A 90-minute initial assessment for individual therapy is $240.00.

My standard fee for couples or family therapy is $245.00 for a 45-50 minute session, and $285.00 for a 90-minute initial couples or family therapy assessment.

Active Duty service members and military retirees receive a 15% discount for services.

Are your Fees Flexible?

When possible, and if needed, I offer flexible and adjustable rates in effort to accommodate the budgetary constraints of my clients.

What's Your Cancellation Policy?

Cancellations require a minimum of 24-hour notification. Patients who cancel after 24-hours are responsible for their scheduled appointment time, and as such, are required to reimburse for this time.

Do You Offer Secure Online Video Conferencing?

In lieu of COVID-19 public health concerns, and in compliance with the CDC and the APA recommendations for private mental health practitioners, I do offer HIPAA compliant, secure on-line video conferencing. There are no downloads necessary, however,  access to the internet, and a secure and private location from which to participate in an on-line session is required.

Do You Offer In-Person Sessions?

At this time, in lieu of COVID-19 public health concerns, and in consideration of the APA recommendations for private mental health practitioners, in-person sessions are done on a case-by-case basis only and will be determined by factors that directly impact the safety and health of each patient.

Do You Offer Assessment for child custody, divorce, or other domestic, civil, or criminal court proceedings?

I am unwilling to be an adverse witness in any child custody, divorce, or other domestic, civil, or criminal court proceedings. Therefore, I do not provide expert witness testimony in any manner. Further, I do not render my opinion or recommendations to any party outside of the therapeutic setting. My role as a professional psychologist is to provide a therapeutic and neutral environment.
